How it works

Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid the skin cannot make. It is widely documented as a key barrier lipid; sebum in blemish-prone skin is often relatively low in linoleic acid, which is why linoleic-rich oils are popular for such skin. It is prone to oxidation.
