Saccharomyces ferment filtrate provides postbiotic activity supporting the skin's resident microbiome. Prebiotic metabolites maintain a skin-compatible acidic pH (4.0–5.5) and emerging literature supports reduction in Cutibacterium acnes at the epidermal surface.
BG + Glycerin + Betaine triple-humectant system delivers immediate and sustained moisture retention in the stratum corneum. Betaine adds osmotic balance and anti-irritancy — compatible with high-active formulations containing acids and retinoids.
Squalane (sugarcane-derived) restores the skin lipid barrier, reduces TEWL, and provides a non-greasy emollient layer that enhances penetration of ferment actives into the stratum corneum.

OryzaGlow contains Butylene Glycol (30%) and Glycerin (15%) at concentrations providing inherent antimicrobial activity in the bulk material. However, given the biological-origin active (Rice Ferment Filtrate), a conventional preservative system at the finished formulation level is strongly recommended. PET testing per ISO 11930 required. Suggested preservative partners: Phenoxyethanol + Ethylhexylglycerin, or Sodium Benzoate + Potassium Sorbate for clean-label positioning.
